Placement Support Service

East Sussex Fostering Service offer a Placement Support Service. The Placement Support Service offers 1:1 support for young people placed with East Sussex FC where the placement is at risk of breaking down. They also offer activities during the school holidays. Access to this is subject to meeting the criteria for the service. Your Supervising social worker or the child’s social worker can make a referral requesting this.

The Placement Support Service can offer babysitting, in the evenings or to enable carers to attend an appointment where a child’s needs mean that they would not manage within the carers support networks. This is subject to this being agreed upon by the Placement Support Service, following a referral.
